I hate NBA2K career mode. I don't really need a story mode but I hope it's not similar to NBA2K, where they basically lock you into one life and one personality.

If its similar to 2k, Id take that any day than current RTTS. RTTS gets so boring really quickly

I have def been more excited for other games.
NBA 2K14 = Dope graphics and gameplay looked impressive.
Madden 06 = Those damn cgi videos
NBA 2K = Legit competitor for NBA Live
GTA 5 = So much stuff to do
Skyrim = Looked like it would be an incredible experience
Halo 2 = After Halo, couldnt wait to game with my friends
Max Payne = Shooting sideways looked so bad ***
GTA 3 = Looked like true open world experience

If its similar to 2k, Id take that any day than current RTTS. RTTS gets so boring really quickly

I don't find it as boring but 2K, no thanks. I just want my player to have a choice to be a nice guy. Like the Spike league experiment - you're a smart ***, you had to have a drug dealer as your best friend, you have a discussion with your family about staying in school or getting drafted - end of the day you had no choice you went to the draft. Why even have a discussion? Just a few of the things I hate about MyCareer mode.

End of the day I hope it's not about personal life, me texting or on my cell or playing a game at my apartment. Just make it about you and your teammates.

RttS has always been my most played mode but I would love the option to edit players equipment and even edit the generated players that get introduced.

I mostly play franchise and what they put out so far I think will be awesome I can't wait till next week for all the franchise information

Dang, no mention of an expansion/relocation feature this year.

If that's something they are waiting for the Franchise unveiling to show us, I doubt they'd just casually leak it like this... They'd be waiting for the unveiling.

Still, I am not as optimistic as I was, say, a month ago.

IF YOU’D PREFER TO SHUN RESPONSIBILITY AND JUST HIT SOME HOMERS, the updated Player Lock makes it easier than ever to pick a player on your team and play short Road to The Show style games in Franchise Mode.

Does this mean you can continue to play games without having to exit to the menus? If so, that will be awesome!

I hope we can set ticket prices etc and change grass patterns again. Those 2 things should have never exited the game.

If our RTTS player does have a personality I hope we can choose to be either like Pedro Cerrano, Wild Thing, Willie Mayes Hayes or Jake Taylor.

Take over Coaching, Player Development, and GM duties.

That's not necessarily a change from last year but in one video I saw missions and xp in a franchise screen.

I may be jumping to a conclusion but I would not be a fan of xp in franchise although the current progression definitely needs some work. Performance based progression is too mercurial. I guess we'll find out in a couple weeks when franchise details are released.

I'm definitely excited for "Pave Your Path" in RTTS...But I'm curious how it's going to work for those of us who want to carry over our '16 career onto '17. Are we going to miss choices/scenarios that we'd experience if we had started a new career in 17???

And about Franchise mode, I really hope they brought back owner mode! The last version of the show to have a full owner mode experience was MLB 12. Either way, 17 looks amazing!
