    New Celebration Animations

Anyone know the scope of these new celebration animations? Are they mostly for homeruns and post-win celebrations?

One thing I noticed today while watching Millenium stream some MLB 16 is that players never do anything after a double, even though he was playing in the postseason. In real life, players often clap, point to the dugout, etc. after a nice 2-bagger, even if they didn't drive anyone in.

In close games, it's common to see a bit of celebration even after a single to try and get a rally going, fire up their team, whatever. The Cub's hitters in particular usually have a ritual celebration after every single hit throughout the season.

Hopefully we'll see stuff like this in 17 with all the new animations as it would add a lot to the realism of the presentation (without going overboard). I'm really excited to see what they have in store for us.

    So pumped for tomorrow!
1458, not counting playoffs, that's the number of games in a row I haven't missed! Go Yanks!

We'll know a lot more about this kind of stuff I'm sure tomorrow during the presentation stream. This year looks like it's gonna be the best year yet for The Show!

Hoping to see Odubel Herrera's "El Torito" horns animation after he gets hits.

              Re: New Celebration Animations

wondering if anyone has seen any celebration animations at all yet??

Seems in '16 there were on base celebrations after hits, and some pumping fist ones after big ones. I havent see a single one this year after 25 games or so.

Also last year the pitcher would point to a defender after a great catch or pump his first after a big strikeout....havent seen either of those this year.

It's really weird (translation: disappointing) to have less emotion and celebration in a year when its specifically advertised.

              Anyone else?

Wondering if this was something they literally just missed or a patchable bug?

this one always kills me too...just an animation of them dusting their pants off after a big double. Even more so, on a triple there is ZERO excitement. Even with the crowd. They hate triples!

This has to be a bug not triggering the animations.
After about 30 or so games and about 70 home runs I've seen 1 dugout celebration and nothing else at all.

Yeah, I haven't seen much at all. Is this a bug or what?

I'm hoping so. I had my RTTS guy fist pump and point on a double once, that's it...and, ironically, it was on probably the least expected time to do so (meaning an early double vs numerous late/close game situations that would have been perfect to show some emotion.

It's odd because some of that was added a few years ago and I can't recall when it slowed down for sure, but I know last year and so far this year I'm not seeing much of anything in this regard.

Since they added hybrid presentations I've seen very little presentations in broadcast mode.
Im wondering if this is the problem.
