Open packs most likely and then an exhibition game Cubs vs Cardinals at Busch Stadium (MLB Network presentation package). By then it will be bedtime because it will unlock at 11:00 pm my time (assuming it is the same as all other games).

I like to do a fantasy draft season while I wait for OSFM. Gonna look around the Indians and while it may seem like a small thing, I'll be joyous to see the Indians undershirt and sock colors are correct (I'm sorry, it's different when you watch them every day). Plus, very excited that the face of our franchise will have a correct face and name in game finally (Lindor).

Once OSFM are up, gonna finish the job they started last year

Wait about a day as my third world standard internet tries to download it, then get cracking on setting my DD team up while I wait for the OSFM rosters to begin my Rays franchise

Go to PS store purchase $200 worth of stubs. Buy myself a good Wild West DD events team and get right after it alternating games between events, seasons, conquest, and battle royale for about the next year.

Explore the created faces in my carry-over franchise and do adjusting that needs to be done. Excited for this upgrade.

This is the first year that I'm going to carry over a save and actually stick to it. I'm almost halfway through 2017 after falling short in Game 7 of the 2016 NLCS with my Cubs.

I'm going to compare the 17 default roster ratings to my 2017 season ratings and adjust some people if there's larger than say, an 8 point difference or larger in their overalls (up or down).

Carry over my franchise save from 16 and start the 2019 season.

I'm doing the same (original carryover from 15), just finished the 2020 season. I'm kind of afraid to start the 2021 season because of the problems with the carryover from 15 to 16. Even though they reset at the beginning of a new season, but 3 weeks is quite a bit of down time with no The Show.

Does anyone have an idea of how long version one of OFSM takes to release? 8 wanna wait until that, but if it takes a few weeks I might start a franchise without it

Show 16 was released Tuesday March 29.

Show 16's OSFM V1 hit the vault April 17 a Sunday.
OSFM V1.5 hit the vault April 19.
OSFM V2 hit the vault April 25.
OSFM V2.2 hit the vault April 26.
OSFM V2.5 hit the vault April 27.
OSFM V3 hit the vault May 13.
As you can see, RDK and crew dont mess around. lol

I expect this one wont drop as quickly as last year because of new body models and faces, but thats perfectly understandable, these guys do great work I'd wait til june if need be lol
I'm sure I will do a quick run through in Season Mode to pass the time with default rosters
and I have a carryover franchise that I will dabble in but I will probably abandon it for awhile if not completely once OSFM 17 drops.

Start a Franchise for experimental purposes. I'll play probably about the first 7 Spring Training games, locking onto a player at a different position each game (1B, 2B, 3B, SS, LF, CF, and RF), just to get a hang of playing the defense at each one (since I haven't played in years). Then once I find the one I like the most, start a RttS creating myself at that spot.

I have decided on something completely new this year. Over the last couple of releases I have moved away from OSFM, messing with sliders, etc.

So this year I have decided to embrace my default playthru style.

On day one I am starting my Nationals franchise over. I will start with Spring Training and just play from there. No more exhibition games, or checking things out and starting over every time.

I am just going to play my franchise(plus RTTS) and let things come as they may. I am going to just experience all of the new stuff "organically" for lack of a better word. The new presentations and all that, just going to let it happen when it happens. I kind of like the idea of not having every game be a MLB "National" broadcast. Like I have to play well and get it rolling to earn a National game broadcast.

Im just looking at keeping things in a fresher state I guess. When I see something new in the game for the first time, I really want it to be for the first time. I am just really committed to just enjoying the game and not sweating the small stuff anymore.

Play a couple of games of retro mode before playing a couple of exhibitions games checking out the new ball physics and Humanity AI.
