Will the MVP edition of the Show 17 ever be available at Amazon for preorder

Amazon.com shows that the MVP edition of MLB the Show is unavaible and that has been its status for some time. Does anyome know if SDS plans on sending them more preorder copies? This issue has been raised on the shownation forums, on twitter and during the developer twitch streams and they have not even acknowledged any of these inquiries.

It was available. Sold out is my guess. I have had it preordered for a while now.

Ramon responded on twitter about a week ago to someone asking that same question. He did not know if Amazon would be receiving more MVP edition copies or not.

I have been watching for the MVP edition to pop back up on there for weeks. Got tired of waiting. Went ahead and preordered at my local GameStop this past week.

How long are the preorder deals good for? I don't mind waiting for the MVP version, but I'll just do the standard if need be I just don't want to miss my opportunity to get the discount.

I would imagine that they had a certain number of copies allotted to them.

If the first run only had say 200,000 for instance and they took 200,000 pre-orders, I guess that qualifies as 'sold out'.

I'm not sure how long they will take preorders up until. I'm guessing the retailers are allotted certain amounts of copies for preorders and for sales after release day? I'm not sure how it works. I figured if they were "sold out" on preorders that there would be a way for them to obtain more copies to fill that request?

I was hoping to get the Prime discount from Amazon on the MVP edition. But after not seeing it back on the website for a few weeks, I didn't wanna chance missing out on getting it on release day like I do every year. So GameStop can thank Amazon for my purchase this year lol.

I preordered mine through Amazon on October 28, 2016. I don't like to take chances.
