Home/Road CPU Uniform Selection Question

Good morning,

Saw the Franchise twitch stream and in one of the Seattle home games they showed the Rangers wearing their blue alt tops but with white pants even though they are the road team. Thinking back to the uniform sets in the Little Things stream I realized that this most likely comes from the fact that the Rangers blue alt is paired with the white pants as Alternate 2 in the Rangers uniform set so the CPU basically picked Alt 2 and just kept it as is with the white pants.

For us to pair them with gray pants we'd have to select the pants individually, which is fine.

But I'm curious if the CPU will ever make this individual pants selection knowing it's a road game for the Rangers... or will the Rangers always wear those jerseys with white pants when the CPU selects those uniforms?

So in short, can the CPU switch individual home or road pants when selecting alternate tops where appropriate?

Not exactly sure, but what I have always done in my Franchise is pick the other teams uniform on the team selection screen. Just move the cursor to them, change the uniform to what you want, then move back to your team and continue.

Yep I do that too... but as the stream showed, in critical situations that you were just simming through and weren't even sure you'd play the game, the user might never pre select the opponents uniforms so this is a little thing that I think could make a bit of a difference in terms of presentation.

Seems like I'm 16 I've seen home alts paired with road pants by the CPU.

Yeah i noticed this too, it's a problem, especially in RTTS when you can't pick the CPU's jersey.

MLB 16 would always pair white pants with the Orioles orange jerseys if I remember right.

Yea, but the white-paneld helmet makes the orange jersey unusable on the road.
