That matters to you; It matters to me and plenty of others. It will greatly help me stay more involved with getting further into the mode when I couldn't before.Comment

Re: Franchise users only - quick manage and critical situations
With the game not rotating the interleague schedule season to season, I won't be playing anything more than the 2017 season.
I personally see no reason to speed into one of franchise mode's problems.@MikeLowe47 | YouTube | Discord

Re: Franchise users only - quick manage and critical situations
The wording of the poll, like others have stated, is slanted negative. I will likely use critical situations and quick manage along with my "Sim five, play one" rule.Rangers - Cowboys - Aggies - Stars - Mavericks

Re: Franchise users only - quick manage and critical situations
If I can setup CPU vs CPU Quick Manage games, I will definitely consider using it for all the other games my team is not playing in across the league on a given day. I find myself rather disconnected from what is happening around the rest of league when I do the instant sim method and the Sportscast Manager method of simming games takes on average 10 minutes to complete each game, which is time consuming. However I won't be using the Critical Situations feature. It's good for those that want it, but it's not for me.Comment

Re: Franchise users only - quick manage and critical situations
Are we going to be able to use Critical Situations for minor league games? I believe we can right....this is another positive for me. I never play minor league games and this would come in handy as it would let me get a feel for minors/prospects pitch motions and batters stances and swings. And actually play with them before they reach the majors. The Positive Sports Podcast~~~Tough Times Don't Last, Tough People Do~~~Ignore The Negativity, Be The PositivityComment

Re: Franchise users only - quick manage and critical situations
Thanks for your input. Sportscast Manager and Quick Manage are the same thing arent they. What changed? You could still quickly manage a game with Sportscast manager. Ramone said they spent 8 months of programming time putting that 1 mode in. We had that mode already didn't we. My point is fix whats wrong with the game before you expand on a mode you say most people love. Look at the poll man. It's not that it just matters to MeComment

I welcome Quick Manage, but I also hope that Sportscast Manager is still in the game. It may not be that popular, but it can still be useful to some.Comment

Re: Franchise users only - quick manage and critical situations
I like them both, in theory. I'll probably use quick manage more than critical situations. Critical situations I'll probably jump into manually from quick manage.

Re: Franchise users only - quick manage and critical situations
The way I've always done my franchises is to play 1 the sim 5 so with each game I go to the next guy on my pitching staff, but I still play around 30 full games a season and feel connected with my squad. With critical situations, I'll probably opt to jump into all the games that I'd usually sim if the situation arises. I think it's a good feature that I'll probably use quite a but. Quick manage, maybe, maybe not. I don't know, I like to play OOTP a lot and the actual act of playing games on there is essentially quick manage, but if I'm playing The Show I actually want to get on the field.Chicago Bulls | Chicago Bears | Chicago White Sox | Chicago BlackhawksComment

Re: Franchise users only - quick manage and critical situations
I will be using both extensively with all my classic season roster replays.
I now will truly be able to dive into these head first, and finish multiple seasons across several decades of greatness.
I will also use this with a fresh new 2017 Yankees Franchise once OSFM drops.
I have two carry over franchises (in my sig) which I play every pitch of every game and that will not change.
The beautiful thing about this feature IMO is while it seems on the surface to cater to new players and make getting through franchises easier and quicker, it truly allows me as someone who plays the Show year round to really delve into the game and play it at different speeds with different franchise and season files.
It opens up the doors to play more baseball overall without feeling like I am just simming some random algorithm. With quick manage you can really decide on your own what you deem a critical situation is and jump right in and make a difference between wining and losing a sim vs the old play one and sim 5.
Awesome new features from SCEA SD.
And the poll IMO was not well thought out. I did not like any of the responses other than the first one which is quite clear. The rest of them? Seems like a gripe disguised as a poll. Now Playing on PS5:
