This happened with me too and I had to do the same. I always go for speed first, actually sometimes I buy it with stubs (since speed can't REALLY be developed). I had 99 speed and had something like 140 stolen bases my first full year and then stopped doing the baserunning and had about 40-50 per season until my 10th year with my 2B. My .401 year I had a ton though since I was always on base and was a #2 hitter most games.

Finished a starting pitcher. 2014-2035. 396, 276, 800 Career Earnings. Played most of my career for the Yanks, and then bounced around to a few teams at the end of my career. I wanted to finish my whole career with one team but I guess it wasn't in the cards. I pitched a perfect game in AA and a no hitter in the majors.
