Fernando Rodney already had a tilted hat in this game in the past. Still doesn't mean we can edit them.

      This game looks incredible.

I knew that the game was showing a slightly warmer tint! I was thinking it in an earlier video last month that showed the Cubs. I thought it was my warmer screen (I use f.lux because of my post-concussion syndrome), but after putting it next to MLB 16, I saw a bit warmer hues in some areas. I didn't know it was because of the sky reflection thing, though.

      Very much wow!

True. I don't recall seeing it when Ramone cycled through the hat options in the RTTS stream. I did like the small added option to change how the hat rests on the head though (also as shown in the RTTS stream).

Interesting. Most of the articles I've seen on the pro (granted, before it came out) were mostly about how it wouldn't do full 4K. So that's good news, taking all my stuff in to gamestop today and trading up to a PS4 pro

You trading the vanilla PS4? I traded mine there when they had a deal for $175 in trade. Just wondering what they will offer you.

Curious what "high framerate" does in terms of actually improving the framerate itself, compared to that of simply consistently maintaining the framerate they already have.

Seriously, they could sell a 1080p user like myself on a PS4 all depending on that and the possible announcement of a Pro bundle with The Show.

Day one ps4, they're giving me $150 credit and $120 for my Xbox one. I originally got it to play forza but now those are going to pc and I got my gaming pc so why have the Xbox right? But yeah, I figure I have a 4k monitor should tide me over till I find a good deal on a 4k HDR tv. Trading in games and accessories so I won't have to pay anything

I asked the GameStop guy if they would be having any deals towards trading in the ps4 soon and he said probably around the holidays and I'm just like, that ain't ideal I need it for MLB 17!

Honestly in all my years working retail I've never seen a MLB The Show bundle with any ps4 or ps3 and it makes me sad

Granted it's only been 4 and a half years but you know.

I will say this - Nioh is almost like playing two different games in Action mode (mostly 720p, stable 60 FPS) vs Movie Mode (30 FPS with some judder, 1080p +). I haven't played Tomb Raider so I can't comment on what the options do there.

Even if it has to drop the resolution to maintain the high framerate like Nioh does, I feel like smooth gameplay (particularly while batting) far outweighs it.

I'd agree, but The Show doesn't exactly run in 30 FPS on the vanilla PS4 either. That's why I'm wondering what extra kind of boost it's getting.

Very intrigued by it. Don't exactly want to trade in my current PS4 though, so it may take shelling out 450 bones or so when all is said and done.

The framerate mode in ROTTR shoots anywhere from 40-60 fps depending on the scene. The other two options (visuals and 4K) are locked at 30.

I wonder if The Show will aim for 60fps stable in framerate mode.

As others have said, enhanced visuals mode with 1440p downsampling on my 1080p display, as long as it has a stable framerate, might be hard for me to turn down.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Not the game's fault, but that New Era logo looks terrible.

I already was hyped for '17 as I am every year. But after watching a ton of gameplay in the stream today, and looking at the "graphical improvements" to the faces, player models, and customization they added this year. Im convinced this game is going to be tremendous.

From the improved lighting to the ball physics, the gameplay this year is going to a whole a new level.

Big shout out to the whole San Diego Studios team. Thanks for the attention to detail and the overall tireless effort to make this game better every year. Those who accuse this company of being complacent because they are the only baseball game around, just simply aren't paying any attention.
