Royals gold trimmed alternate does not have the blue piping as seen in the game.

On Tues I'll do side by side comparison shots of red jerseys and black jerseys with the hitter on first base standing next to the first baseman so that it will obviously be same game same time same lighting conditions. That would really be the be all end all to figure out which jersey colors that are supposed to be the same are wrong or not.

NY Yankees do not have their uniform numbers on their batting helmets in the game this year. Not sure why they are missing.

Man. I really had hope this year. But based on Millenium's stream, all the red jerseys are still terrible. All of them are washed out or too dark. The Nationals are basically maroon. Even the Twins red alt that I had high hopes for after the dev stream, looked pink during a night game. The Pirates alt jerseys are still grayish instead of black. Tigers jerseys are missing the names, which Ramone said won't be fixed until 18 on Millenium's stream. So that's lovely. Yankees no numbers on the batting helmets. Sigh. Another year of never using teams with red jerseys.

Not so sure about that. I haven't gotten all the way through Millenium's stream yet (not sure he used them anyway) but I remember their jerseys looking too dark on the dev stream. In 16, the jerseys were too dark and the batting helmets were the correct color. The contrast was stark.

Won't know till Tuesday for sure I suppose.

If the Tigers didn't remove the names on the backs of their road jerseys in the style guide then The Show 17 isn't following the style guide and we've heard a million times that they must follow the style guide. So if it's wrong and it doesn't get fixed then this mandatory following of the style guide isn't exactly what we think it is.

And the Pirates jersey was pretty definitely improved a couple of weeks ago so this makes it all the more confusing. A while back it was shown washed out in an earlier version and then recently it was shown in a newer version and it was much improved and now in the final version it seems washed out again. Definitely a head scratcher.
