    K/9 & H/9 Don't Affect Gameplay?

I remember Ramon or another Dev saying some of the pitching ratio attributes (H/9, K/9, BB/9, etc.) don't affect gameplay. It was from one of the most recent Twitch videos but I can't find it anymore. Does anyone know where to find that? Better yet, has anyone seen a Dev have a more comprehensive discussion about this?

To my understanding, it's only HR/9 that doesn't affect gameplay. All of the other ones do.

H/9 effects the size of the opposing batters plate coverage indicator, and yes they still have one, even if it's the cpu.

K/9 effects how late your movement is.

BB/9 combines with Control to give you true control. One effects accuracy whereas the other prevents "throwing wild" (not sure which is which though).

HR/9 may not effect gameplay. If it does I suspect that it just effects average ball velocity off the bat.

BB/9 is your command on the single pitches ( plus bonus for confidence ). Control is the ability to put the ball in the strikezone. With low control, when you miss a pitch, you will miss badly out of the strikezone.

          Bb/9 effects the pitching meter

CardinalBird5 tested both BB/9 and Control. Apparently, BB/9 is the only one that is important between the two.

so the game is set up to be just as easy to hit a homer against a pitcher with a high HR/9 as it is against a pitcher with a low HR/9? that doesnt sound right and surely cant be the case, can it?

Well now I understand why homerun totals are so high.
It should be hella harder to hit one against Noah Syndergaard and Johnny Cueto and easier to hit one against Josh Tomlin and James Shields IMO

                        So high offline or online?

Imo it has to do with the pci being so big. Default pci on allstar is huge

Offline. My numbers usually seem high so I play on dynamic difficulty to keep the hitting from getting too easy.

Ah, offline I don't have issues with hr's for human batting on hof. I do have too many for cpu batting but i just turn down the power notch 1 and chalk it up to it being on Hof.
