    Franchise question

Has there been any mention from Ramone or the crew about any update to the scouting or the draft itself?

    Re: Franchise question

I don't think so the only thing related to that is there is a top 50 prospects tab in franchise mode which will be nice to have.

No real upgrade to the draft or scouting.

However, the players in the draft will be assigned Quirks and look a ton better inc. having licensed equipment. Between the better CAP faces, equipment logic and Quirks, at least the drafted players will be more realistic and have more personality.

He also said more players will be auto-scouted.

I was on vacation during the developer tournament when Russell was answering a lot of questions which is probably for the best since I would have probably irritated the developers with too many questions. One thing I wonder is if you will know what their quirks are before drafting them or if you find out after the draft.

I guess this and a lot of other questions will be answered on 3/28.

And now that the celebrations aren't tied to the batting stances, you could also give some of them a little more depth, if you so choose.

All of the improvements to CAP's should be especially sweet for franchise gamers who get through multiple seasons. I'm one of those guys that lose some interest as the years roll on, and the drafted players don't look very realistic and lack any kind of depth. I'm hoping this year the drafted players feel more like the real players. If so, If be more apt to take my franchise a lot further.

Another thing that may keep my interest longer, is the matchup stats. To see a drafted player in his 5th year build some stats vs. various pitchers around the league will be a thing that I really enjoy and will help immersion.

Please no more Dominican players with a Blonde Close Crop haircut and a Dirty Blonde goatee. Some of them last year looked really suspect.
