My God the smoothness of the High Framerate Mode is unbelievable. It's been my biggest complaint as a PC gamer who is forced to play sports games on consoles. This year looks like a massive upgrade. Can't wait to play it on Tuesday!

Yup, looks like butter. Anyone know the official FPS count for HFR mode, though? For all I know it could just be locked at 60 FPS.

Willis in the impressions thread above has the regular PS4. Any impressions from him will be for the regular one - and so far he's saying it's an improvement there too.

I can already see I won't have to stray too far from All-Star default this year...yet again.

What a finely tuned game out of the box these guys put out for us. It looks amazing so far. The animations are buttery smooth from what I can see on this stream. And the ball physics.....dear lord we have almost true to life ball physics!!!!!

Yeah I got the same impression. Mill's on HOF default and the gameplay and general flow looks amazing.

Just read his impressions and looking forward playing in on the regular PS4. Biggest year-to-year improvement yet must have all us The Show fans excited to play!

Having said this, curious about HDR and what it does to contrast and if it makes a hugh difference. Nice to have those options and SSD should be applauded for that. Great job Ramone and team.

Mill just hit a Stanton-class moonshot with Kemp, with Showtrack showing 120 MPH and I think 495 feet? Wow.

And that was after Freeman hit a monster shot of his own to right.
