Anyone else planning on playing out conquest

I am thinking about playing out conquest this year (i.e. Playing the games instead of swimming). At least for the first half the map or so before you start getting like 50+ reinforcements a turn. I figure it will be more turn efficient (won't lose fans from simming) and I will get a bunch of cards too ( especially good if it's like last year and the card odds are based only on difficulty and not reduced for a 3 inning game). Plus, I have lots of time to play offline and much less to play online anyways.

Doing conquest before going DD online. Lots of cards and some really good ones!! Remember that Ichiro card..wow

I'll probably play more than I did last year since I didn't fully buy into DD until mid-summer and by that point I was just desperate to get through as much as I could as quickly as possible. But if there's a strategy to finish the mode in just a couple hours like there was last year it'll be hard to resist the temptation to just get on with it. If the random conquest packs are tied to actually playing the game rather than simming everything but the strongholds I think that would be a smart incentive to actually play the games.
