Exporting/Importing for year to year saves
I have a franchise from 16 that I would like to carryover into 17. It would start just before the offseason begins. Am I able to export players from the 16 franchise file and import them into the new 17 franchise file? Thanks.

Re: Exporting/Importing for year to year saves
I read somewhere that if you turned on the control all teams option when you set up your franchise, you can export players. Then you could import them onto a roster and create a new franchise in 17.
I, however, did not have that option turned on so I can't. 😞
EDIT: CPU Roster Control turned on.

Re: Exporting/Importing for year to year saves
So basically you need to have CPU Roster Control on to be able to export/import players. But the problem with that is I would have to start a new franchise, and even if I did I wouldn't be able to turn it off when I continue it in 17. I really prefer not to have CPU roster control on in my franchise. Is that the only way?

You know, you really don't need to do that if you want to continue your existing franchise. Just choose the "Continue from 16" option.
Now, if you are just wanting players from that franchise, then yes, that is the only way.

Re: Exporting/Importing for year to year saves
While we're on the topic of carry over saves, has anyone with the new game had any issues with stats not carrying over properly? I apologize if this has been answered in another thread.Comment
