Its awful but its accurate. Nothing about Kersh's motion looks good in real life.

I say the same thing about the Warren Spahn pitching motion, which I use for my RTTS pitcher.

There's no way he kicked that high in real life, is it? All the footage of him I can find is from his final years, when he definitely did not.

And yet, Spahn was one of the greatest pitchers ever, as is Kershaw. It's all about results.

I don't know, I think they have always nailed his motion in past games. It's definitely slowed down a lot this year

This was Spahn in a game, probably changed later in career.. I mean who can do this forever..

Well, you learn something new every day...

That's got to put a ton of pressure on that knee, though. No wonder he stopped.

looks like the show Kershaw needs to be just a bit more full overhand throw
but whats in game is nothing so far off to be unacceptable IMO

Later in his career. He does not look like he's a spring chicken in that picture.

Kershaw's motion in 15 was definitely much better and accurate. The current one is not terrible but like many other new motions Ive seen there are weird pauses during the motion and the arm follow through doesn't look natural at all.

It could be better but still 1000x better than his delivery in MLB 16 the Show.

I'm just happy they're getting rid of most of the deliveries they did the past couple years because those ones were terrible.

The motion is too slow, that's about the only issue imo

I hate playing with pitchers who take forever to come set, even though it's just representing what they do in real life. With Kershaw, once his arms are fully extended above his head, I start the pitch. Not waiting for his arms to come down, man.

This sort of thing happens every year. They change something that was perfectly fine and make it worse. Why? Whats the point? There is so much talk about how they are a small team and how they can only do so much, but why are you wasting time on changing something that was already correct? He looks like Wei Yen Chen out there throwing now.
