    No Mike Piazza?

Sony added the Mets retired numbers to the top of the left field promenade this year but they didn't add Mike Piazza.

    Was this done on purpose?

The numbers weren't there in MLB 16, so it's something new for MLB 17. Why add them and leave out Piazza?

    Seems odd to me...

    My Guess:

They updated the Mets Stadium with the retired numbers early in the season/dev cycle last year, before Piazza had his number retired. So probably not a purposeful omission as much as bad timing.

That is just a guess on my part though.

      Ah that makes sense.

I was thinking maybe he didn't give them permission or something.

He wouldnt need to give them permission. Retired numbers arent copyright material. In any event if they were they would belong to the Mets, not Piazza.
