Yes, you get the game at 9pm but you may have to wait in line. Plus you still have to install it. Now this is better then going to Walmart or Best Buy.

On PSN, you get to pre-load but you can't play till 12pm. Well depended on time zone. In my time zone, I can play at 11pm.

So I guess depending where you are at. It could work out

Also, it may not go down this way, but for those going to GS be prepared for this possibility (from someone who's been to a lot of these).

You might not be able to actually walk out of the store with the game right away. What usually happened when I went to one of these is that you'll get a number early on, but then have to wait until midnight until they can actually sell you the game at the counter (the earlier you get your number, the earlier in line you'll be of course). They let you stay inside or around the store after it would normally close, so you can think of it as a "launch party" as such. But you might not actually get it until the normal release time.

Just saying it's a possibility.

So ive seen this posted already but now i have confirmation from Gamestop themselves they are indeed releasing the game at 9pm est tonight. So my question is can psn get this also? if i would have know this was a real thing i would have never got it on psn.

If anybody else thinks this isnt really fair that gamestop does it and we should all get it please get ahold of Ramone maybe he can do something to help us out although he may not be able to or may be to late

As others said they still have to download the game which can take a few hiurs for some people. It basically is gamesttop letting them pre load the game like digital does

They're not going to have people roaming the stores for 3 hours after close. They said I can buy it at 9pm. They want me out of there as quickly as possible. I don't expect to play it before midnight anyway. Installs and release patch and what not. I've gotten some beer. I'll drink the beer while wearing the hat. Tomorrow all day, not even going to put on pants. Just play the game.

With the state of retail in general, and Gamestop specifically (closing 100 stores soon), I agree with you and others that this is them trying to keep customers.

With that said, what bcruise said is something that has definitely happened in the past. They gave lottery tickets (numbers basically) to those in line at 9p so they could line up for the midnight release.

Yea, anybody mad about this is overlooking the fact Gamestop customers still have to drive to the store, wait in line, drive back home, unwrap the case, put the disc in, start the download for the day one patch, wait for the first 8GBs to install from the disc so they can play the exhibition game while the rest of the data it needs to rip from the disc to their hard drive continues installing, finish the exhibition game and realize there's still 20 minutes left on the install and then either go to bed or stay up all night like half the people who bought the game on PSN and can start playing full modes right at 9 PST will be doing.

Lol what a nightmare. Gotta unwrap the case and put in the disc, ha! The GameStop deal is more suited for me that's why I'm going with that over digital deluxe plus my PS4 is running out of storage. I don't think it will be that hard to deal with the 30min ordeal from leaving my house until return.

So I went digital about 15 minutes ago and my email receipt says the game will be playable @ 9pm. I wonder what is what, either way it's all good. Anyone else seeing this??

GameStop releasing it TONIGHT!!

I'm not sure if this has been put out there yet but most GameStop stores are releasing The Show tonight, at 9pm. I got a text and called two different stores, one in New Mexico and one in Tennessee and both stores were releasing the game at 9.

Again, I am sorry if this has already been posted but thought there might be a few out there that might find this useful.

I'll be there at 9... I know that much! Ha.

I was moreso sarcastically explaining how this, in all reality, just allows physical players to get the full game up and running at roughly the same time as digital players than trying to express a preference. The fact is, the way consoles work these days, just because a physical purchase grants you access to the disc at 9PM doesn't mean you'll actually be playing the game much sooner than digital players so it's nothing to get jealous over.
