Can I give Ken Griffey Jr. to a friend?

I had a friend who wasn't able to get his preorder in for Griffey and I don't like him, so am I able to give him to my buddy? I'm not new to the show but have no idea about doing something like this so any insight is greatly appreciated.

Well let me rephrase that, I like him ok, but it doesn't really matter to me as much as it does to my buddy if I have him.

Also, I preordered on PSN so I really didn't get a code or anything.
