That's not true, Padres 3B coach Glenn Hoffman is in.

Just played against the Royals and Rusty Kuntz was in there at first base.

I don't think he was in last year either. The A's had a generic 3rd base coach (that looked like Wash and wore the same number)

Is this Wash's first year in that capacity with the Braves? If so, that would make sense because the game is usually a year behind when a new coach/manager is hired. For example, some generic dude managed the Nats instead of Dusty Baker in MLB 16. This is pretty common to see. I believe it was the same for Joe Maddon and the Cubs in MLB 15.

It's specific to Wash. He wasn't in last years game either. Most likely licensing issue. News A's 3rd coach Chip Hale #4 is in the game.

Don't know the why, assuming it's a licensing issue to some degree because it's clearly not an oversight. Last year his likeness was on the field and Matty V even said his actual name but menus/jersey reflected a random name.

This is weird cause my first game I ripped one down the 3rd base line against the Braves and Matty V said "Wash jumping out of the way of that one. Ron Washington the 3rd base coach." Soooooo at least his name is in the game lol.

It has to be a licensing issue. Joe Maddon was in the game with the Cubs in 2015. Dave Roberts was in the game last year with the Dodgers in his first year as a manager, as was Andy Green with the Padres. Torry Luvullo and Rick Renteria are in this year in their first season with their respective clubs. Dusty wasn't in last year and Bud Black isn't in this year. Last year Matt Williams was in the game as the Dbacks 3B coach after he had been fired from the Nats. This year, Chip Hale isn't in as the Athletics 3B coach but he was in last year as the Dbacks Manager.

So with it being so hit or miss it comes down to having permission to use names and likenesses.
