Astros as this year I plan to finally play every game and start carrying it year to year so I dont have to wait for the new OSFM rosters haha. Real Astros look like they could be dangerous and still have a few prospects coming up so it seems it will be a fun team to play with.

My main franchise is with my brother playing co-op as our Cubbies. Individually I have an Athletics standalone franchise going. They are my second favorite team

Also like to do a rebuild team, probably with the Braves this year, always been a fan of them.

I am with the OP, I find it harder and harder to use the Dodgers because I know their real life tendencies, and I have too many attachments to make moves.

I am thinking of using the Yankees this year. I have never used them before, but they look to have a fun team.

There are so many deciding factors for me when picking a team for The Show. First and foremost I like to usually pick rebuilding projects... so that limits which teams I can use.

Second, the ballpark matters. If I have to stare at the park for 81 games a season I want to play somewhere that pleases the eyes visually.

Third, the logo and jerseys. Some teams I just cant stomach the team name or the color scheme etc.

Fourth, AL vs NL. Sometimes I just dont want to bat with the pitchers so I feel the need to pick an AL team for the DH. ( I know I can turn it off but I like authenticity).

So if you take all those factors into consideration it really limits the teams I can be... Sigh, not sure who I want to be this year.

I live in Michigan so I thought about the Tigers as they are a team on the wrong side of the fence right now and I could bring them back to championship caliber but the jersey issue with no names on their road jerseys this year is a huge annoyance for me Sooooo I just don't know...

30 Team Franchise. Play all 162 with the Mets because well, Syndergaard, deGrom, Harvey, Matz, Wheeler.
And I'm also planning on playing Critical Situations for all the other games that day as a MLB Tonight type program.

Haha i have that same magazine actually signed by Dale. My mom is part of that Murphy family. I have met Dale a couple times and have a bunch of his memorabilia signed. Nice dude. It was great when he was Rockie to actually see him play live a number or times.

Grew up in Southern Cal going to Angels games so I have a huge soft spot for the Halos, then I moved to Arizona right when the D'backs came to town and became a fan. So I'll probably roll with the D'backs this year and see what I can do with Goldy. Might need some pitching staff help!

This year I'll be doing something different, well different for me, I will be going with a team that's not my favorite team which is the Yankees. I'll be using the Atlanta Braves this year. It will be my first time not using my Yanks in a Show franchise. Braves have nice uniforms, a great new ballpark with SunTrust, and a decent roster that isn't too good but isn't terrible either that should allow them to be a somewhat competitive team year 1. Can't forget about that stacked farm system either.


Like almost everyone else that's aware of its existence and how good it is, I'll of course be waiting for OSFM before i get started. Can't wait to get going with my Braves franchise once OSFM releases. In the meantime, it's exhibition games and a bit of RTTS for now though. After already playing multiple games with Atlanta I can already tell the bullpen will likely be a problem.

White Sox are my favorite team, but i'm going to wait for OSFM, and rebuild the Brewers. I like them, and I love Miller Park!
