I have had 3 liners hit to 3b and my third baseman stands at 3b when i move him and the ball goes into lf - then my left fielder seems to be preloaded into an animation that takes him away from the ball-- I have never ever had any fielding problems in MLB the show and been playing since 09-- is it different this year?
