    average/OBP and batting stance.

A couple minor things I noticed during RTTS today. I've been using Ken Girffey Jr's batter stance for my player, got to my third series in AA. I was playing the 2nd game of that series without going back to the clubhouse between games. At one point in the game my batter came up and had a totally different stance. Oddly enough I think it's the stance I used in last years RTTS (but I didn't import any saves). It lasted the rest of that game and the next game of the series. Once I went back to the clubhouse and started the next series it was back to Jr's stance.

And noticed a stat glitch, after about 5 games or so for some reason it's displaying my on base percentage as lower than my batting average. For example I had a BA of .350 but a .320 OBP. Stayed that way over several games. Eventually I walked and that made them even (but at that point the OBP should have been higher than the average). After another game or two my OBP once again went back to being lower than my average. Anyone else seen this?

Sacrifice flies and bunts will lower your OBP but not affect your BA

Did you happen to have some sacrifices with little or no walks? A sacrifice will not count against your AVG but will against your OBP. It's certainly possible to see a situation such as yours early in the season if you aren't getting walks.

That explains it, I've only had the one walk in about ten games (I'm a very aggressive hitter but I don't strike out much either). I've also had a couple sac flies as you mentioned. I never realized that a sac fly counted against your OBP but it makes sense.
