Can someone explain what THEMES mean in presentation and quirks.

I tried to open the manual but it won't open up. When getting ready to play a game or playing games and setting camera modes. There is a box in presentation that says ( Broadcast Theme style..) MLB network, Theme 1 or theme 2 ) I have tried all three of them but really don't see any difference. Is this just something for ONLINE because I do not play online. Also I have found the QUIRKS for the players but is there anything that explains exactly what they do, what they mean and do they actually have an impact in the game. Any help would be appreciated. Themes in presentation refer to the broadcast package. The scorebug/music/wipes/etc will be different with each theme. The MLB Network theme mimics an actual MLB Network broadcast. It is not just online.
