Re: Stadiums needing touch ups
Marlins park got a lot of love and looks fabulous (they even got the colors of the concession stands correct) except for one thing that's been changed for four years now and has yet to be changed in the game. The home team and visiting team bullpens should be switched. The Marlins bullpen is in right field and the opponent bullpen is in left field. This was changed for the 2013 season.Comment

The green looks off IMO. I'm actually hoping they change it back.

It also looks like they changed up the camera angle a bit. It looks perfect in comparison to last year

Re: Stadiums needing touch ups
Overall, I'm very happy with Comerica park. Only glaring issue are the vehicles above the batters eye in Center field look like ps3 versions. The rest of the park looks so good, and it really makes the vehicles stand out as an eye sore

Re: Stadiums needing touch ups
There are a couple of lighting issues with Busch in the game. The cola sign in center and the clock above the scoreboard... neither are lit up. It's been like this a few seasons now in the SHOW. I've posted this a few times.. was hoping this year it would have been fixed.

It might be more than one stadium that has the issue.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Stadiums needing touch ups
The out of town scoreboard in LF at Suntrust Park is an eyesore. Needs to be made clearer. Looks so out of place with the other higher resolution parts of the stadium.
Of course it also needs to be made a video board as opposed to what it is now.Last edited by TomahawkChopYaHead; 05-03-2017, 12:14 AM.Comment

Re: Stadiums needing touch ups
I have a few things for Marlins Park and I'm pretty sure that they can't be fixed in a patch, but one can always hope. At the very least, I'd hope to see these things in The Show 18:
Here are a few pictures of the HR sculpture at Marlins Park - the first one is how the sculpture appears, inaccurately, in the game currently. The second photo is from the MLB 14 The Show "Cathedrals Are Better on PS4" trailer in which it looks spot-on perfect in relation to the real thing. What's never been correct in the game dating back to the first year the stadium was in the game in MLB 12 The Show, is the positioning of the fish on it. It's kind of a bummer that the sculpture is even depicted accurately in a far lesser game like RBI Baseball. The last photo is how it appears in real life, for reference.

Second thing is that the rolling windows beyond left field should be open when the roof is open.
Third is that there shouldn't be a team logo in the grass behind the home plate dirt.
Finally, as someone already mentioned in an earlier post, the bushes above the center field wall should be totally filled in and you shouldn't be able to see any of the dirt.
Big ups to the devs for making most of the changes I've suggested this year and in years past. Great work.Last edited by dupontflames; 05-03-2017, 04:46 AM.Comment

Re: Stadiums needing touch ups
Wrigley Field
Flags
Most noticeable additions are probably the championship flags on either side of the center field scoreboard. From left to right, they're 1907, 1908, 2016, and 2016 NL Champions flags. The photo below doesn't show it well but you can see in this one that they also have plants at the base of the flag poles and along all the green cement in center. Also worth noting from this picture, the green door next to the distance marker in the right-field corner. In-game it's a red & blue door.
Spoiler
Bullpens
Now that we've gotten better looks at the bullpens, here's a shot of them for any improvements. Not the most exciting of changes to make (a railing, a door, maybe replicate the tight camera shot?), but I'm throwing it out there anyway.
Spoiler
Video board
Here's the video board in MLB 17, during a player's first at-bat.
Spoiler
After that first at-bat, the seasonal stats in the middle are replaced by current game at-bat summaries. That's not the case in real-life though, as seen here. The seasonal stats stay in that middle section all game.
They also rarely, if ever, use the lower portion for "Due Up" names. That's likely just a holdover from the sketches that were put out before they actually installed the boards. That lower part is actually where they display daily stats and pitch info.
So I threw together a mockup of what improvements I think could be made.
Spoiler- Background behind all batter headshots is green, same as is already being done for the pitcher info on the right side.
- Seasonal stats moved down to fill that center space. Batter name, number, and position shifted around a little for better spacing.
- Lower portion displays at-bat results and pitch speed and type.
