    Spring Training Ballparks in future?

Curious if anyone else has the desire to see the Spring Training parks added to the MLB The Show series and what are the chances we could ever see it happening.

After hitting a couple of Grapefruit League games for the first time in Feb (Steinbrenner Field and Wide World of Sports complex), it would be great to see these and others added to the list of stadiums in the game.

Would also love to see a true Spring Training mode separate from Franchise/Season modes (ala Post Season mode). Complete with Grapefruit League and Cactus League schedules, rosters (expanded), Lineups and Rotations, uniforms (with the AZ and FL patches on jerseys and hats).

Every year, as the hype and anticipation builds for the new version of The Show, I update my rosters and start playing my own Spring Training using the existing two Spring Training ballparks in the game along with a few of the minor league parks, but it's just not the same.

I would love to have real expanded rosters for spring training. Give prospects or outside people who aren't on the 40 man a shot to make the team.

I'm way more interested in ST ballparks than classic stadiums. This is a big reason that I'm not regretting passing on this year's game.

I'd rather then not spend time on spring training parks. I find the fictional ones fine. I'd be down for them to add a few more though.

I would love to see the real Spring Training ballparks added into the game. It would make me want to play Spring Training games much more. Spring Training could really use some attention and improvement outside of adding real ST ballparks as well.

Can't see them obtaining the specific rights to the real world spring training facilities and parks, but more fake parks would be welcomed.

I'm sure their data metrics show that most people don't play spring training games, but it would likely increase if they worked on the mode some. Expanding the rosters and giving us a true reason to play the games would go a long way.

Re: Spring Training Ballparks in future?

I think MANY would play Spring Training much more if there were actual ST ballparks in the game. Especially if the Spring Training mode was implemented as a separate mode and expanded.

That being said, having additional fictional Spring Training parks (perhaps modeled after some of the existing facilities) would definitely help.

There are only a handful of team specific facilities that aren't shared between teams. And of those, only a few are unique (Steinbrenner Field, JetBlu Park to name a couple).

What's interesting is that many of the facilities in Arizona are shared whereas in Florida, the parks are single team usage.

Having only been to Cactus League games before this year, I had never really noticed or thought about it.

I'm all for having more fictional spring training parks. Especially one that looks like they're playing on a back field with no stands, just bleachers. Heck I'd love to have the ability to choose that field just for BP. Fictional me would practically live there

Spring Training only exists in our imagination when playing the game, they care zero about Spring Training. Before the ballparks, which I would love to add, I'd just accept adopting basic Spring Training rules, regulations and norms and I could tolerate playing on a base 3d rendered grass field if they just did that

I like the idea of having a training mode with the backfield where you can take BP (with the cage) and practice.

Would be cool to have something like that implemented into an expanded Spring Training Mode along with some practice drills for pitching, fielding and throwing.

I always thought that sports games should have an option for pre-game activities (ie: Batting Practice) before starting a game. If you want to bypass it, just hit 'x'.

I think Madden has missed the boat on that big time (among other things) as pre-game is a big part of football.
