I haven't played this game in a number of years but bought the new one this past week. I am admittedly a noob, but I was shocked to try the metered pitching and find that the area you are aiming for is extremely narrow. I'm used to games where the better the pitcher, the larger the timing window is - yet I was using Nolan Ryan on veteran and I could hardly even throw a strike because I wasn't in like a 10ms window. Should I just stick with pulse or analog or is there a way to increase the window?

Question about metered pitching
Hi,
I haven't played this game in a number of years but bought the new one this past week. Should I just stick with pulse or analog or is there a way to increase the window?Tags: None -
Re: Question about metered pitching
Nolan Ryan is one of the wildest pitchers so it makes sense that he has a narrower window for better control?
I don't know what you mean by "narrow" but I think the line on the meter indicates the "best" timing to hit, but it doesn't necessarily mean anything outside the line means poor timing. It's more like how close to the line you should be to hit the best timing. -
Re: Question about metered pitching
I actually didn't know he was that wild of a pitcher. I'll try with someone else but I basically couldn't throw a strike with him in that mode (whereas analog and pulse were fine)Comment
