We have been told that wishlists are useless so...
How can we go about (with the help of the mods) compiling a good list of realistic areas to be improved for next years game that SDS can actually take note of and accomplish? Obviously it would need to be constructive and as I mentioned realistic (we know we arent getting relocation/create-a-stadium so posts requesting things like that would not be helpful at this point in time). Can we an official list going?Tags: None -

No. A wish list is things that arent in the game that people want to add. I want to make a list of the things that are already in the game that need fixing/overhauling. Such as Mo-capping, correct equipment and editing options. Making a team color 4 so that we can have white and grey home and away equipment. Things that can actually be done. But I want it to be done with the participation of the mods and devs so that we arent in here talking about things they wont even look at.Last edited by rh123; 04-02-2017, 04:07 PM.Comment

Re: We have been told that wishlists are useless so...
think of it as a needlist
what I need improved is the things that arent editable, to be made so.
like service time, coach and managers names, heck even umpire names.
now what I wish is my needs are addressed.

Exactly. We can all agree that the show is a good game with tremendous potential. That doesnt mean its not in need of major improvement in quite a few areas.Comment

Wishlists aren't useless...one user that comes to mind, tnixen, has had a lot of things he's asked for come about.
I do like your idea...things in the game that could be tweaked or changed in someway. I'd love to see a collaborated list that all of OS agrees that we'd like to see reviewed for 2018's dev cycle.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.
It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

Yeah, I've seen Ramone say that but it's partially due to when they wishlists are made.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.

Haha, well I always take what they post as fact, so if its not true I would hope he wouldnt put it out there for everyone to see. But that is a perfect example as to why we need an official one that is handled by OS brass and the devs so that we can cut through all the unrealistic stuff and focus on what can actually be done for the game.Comment

I wouldnt go so far as to say wishlist are useless but you have to keep in mind
1) OS makes up for a very small percentage of the user base
and 2) SDS already has a clear vision of where they want the game to go and grow. the reason it seems to be slow in the making has to do with the budget Sony allocates to SDS.
not from not knowing what the consumer wants.OSFM23 - Building Better Baseball - OSFM23
