    Directional PCI Not Moving?

In years past using directional hitting you would see the PCI move automatically in the swing/pitch info when the user is at bat. I noticed this year the PCI does not move at all, it only gets bigger or smaller and informs you of they type of contact from the swing. Now when the CPU is batting you would see their PCI move on the swing/pitch info. Is this by design or is this a glitch?

It was the same as this last year - it still moves, but it's under the hood.

As for how to explain this, I wrote a post about it last night:

Not sure if I like this new design but oh well. Just wanted to be sure that this wasn't a bug.

So if you don't mind me jumping in here I just wanted to make sure. So I use analog with stride and stopped using analog/stride with directional because it did not show the pci moving. If I'm correct analog/stride/directional is the same as choosing analog with stride? If that's the case I do want the ability to use directional hitting as well.

I'm a little confused by that last part. But I can definitely say that if you use directional with with any input type or analog type, that it will work in the way I described above. The input doesn't matter - it's the hitting interface that does.

Pure Analog (which I know you didn't mention but I just want to clarify) works a little different. You have left/right control of the swing in that mode if you tilt up and left/right on the swing, while the game controls up/down by ratings. It just gives you a little more control over PCI placement. And of course zone gives you full control.
