Confirmed: If you play a game too long, the sun will rise

    Credit to this guy: https://www.reddit.com/r/MLBTheShow/...round_to_dawn/

I remember the devs talking about this on a live stream when they first introduced accurate sun positions. I've never seen it confirmed until today.

    Early morning baseball anyone?

Being that this is possible, and yea the devs did mention it being able to happen, how come we still can't pick any hour of the day to start a game? I'm really hoping next year we can pick any time instead of being stuck with the 4 options we currently have.

Personally I don't have a problem with the 4 times as those are the times that games tend to start so to me it makes sense.

How is the time counted, is it just forwarded randomly inning by inning or does it weigh all game situations, or is it really a continuous timing from the opening pitch.

I think I am more amazed that the crowd hung in there for that long..people could be fired over that! "Sorry boss, can't come into work today..just finished a 13 hour ballgame..the bathrooms? let's not talk about the bathrooms!"

I haven't been to Reddit in awhile. That comment section looks confusing as heck.
