Here is how to FIX the "Too Many HOMERUNS" Tested over 35 games

    Hey everyone,

TRY This slider set!!! I have tested these over 35 games so far.

I have been averaging 0.8 Homers per game over the course of 35 games in my season with the Yankees. When i first started playing the game (In Play Now Exhibition) i was playing on All Star Hitting and All Star pitching and i was hitting 5 homers a game with default sliders. Only using regular swing. I never use power swing.

    Here they are:
    Hitting Difficulty : Veteran
Must be on Veteran so that you can score some runs by just hitting.
Pitching Difficulty : Hall of Fame
    Directional hitting

*Any sliders not mentioned are default.

    User Power (Minus)-4
    Cpu Power (Minus)-4
User Solid hits : Maxed out
Cpu Pitcher Strike frequency -3 (Needs to be -3 because computer throws too many strikes on Veteran difficulty) I'm averaging 2 to 3 walks a game with it set on -3 on Veteran. This slider set at -3 will not work on higher hitting difficulties. You will see too many balls on higher hitting difficulties.
    Outfield Arm Strength -5
    Infield Arm Strength -5
Outfield/infield Arm Strength at -5 will allow the cpu and user to see runs scored off of hits. And the game will still play realistically.

Try these out and post your box scores!!!

I have hit 31 homeruns in 35 games.
I have allowed 42 homeruns in 35 games.

The game is still really challenging with hitting on Veteran too since you will need to hit to score runs.

Try these out and you wont be dissapointed. I promise.

I'm not trying to crap on your slider set, my dude, but I think with solid hits maxed out and at veteran level most guys, or a lot at least, probably won't even try them. There are guys here that play on HoF or legend and crush the cpu and do so with pretty realistic stats, so I'd have to think that at veteran they would see unrealistic results.

I could be wrong entirely though, and maybe you actually did find the secret mojo to taming the bats while still getting some fun games in. I'll check them out for sure and let you know in the next day or two.

I usually play this game on hall of fame hitting as well. But since you wont be seeing unrealistic number of homeruns with cpu/user power minus 4. And since the way the game comes at default you can only score runs with homeruns. That is why i have hitting on veteran. And solid hits maxed out.

Trust me i am a feen at this game.

You've already posted this in that thread.

We also have a slider forum if you would like to post your sliders there.

          Thank you.
