Why does Jon Lester throw to first?

I have Dee Gordon and Lester threw over to 1st 3 times in a row. Then after the next pitch, threw over 2 more times. He might throw to first in real life 3 times ALL SEASON. Can SDS patch this? How was something like this overlooked?

His inability to throw to first is unique.

I doubt the show has ANY individual tendencies for throwing to first nor should they spend time doing that.

If you do it for Lester you have to create a trait which in turn means you have to do it for every pitcher in the game.

now that theres a pickoff artist player quirk, I'd like to see an attribute slider added for pitchers, give Lester a fat ZERO.
Also I thought the title "Why does Jon Lester throw to first?" was a riddle.
Now I guess I'll have to invent the punchline myself...
Why does he? I dont think "to get to the other side" really work here, does it?
