One last thing in regards to rosters for single franchise guys.
I recommended earlier to wait until a 40 man roster is out before you start because you would be unable to add players to 40 man before injuring them. There is a roster in the vault that has 40 man, but it doesn't have players who are on the 60 day DL on the 40 man, so when you injure these guys (most are due to season ending elbow surgery) they will appear on the bench.

I recommend editing the rosters prior to starting your franchise, add those guys back to the 40 man rosters and begin. The cpu will call someone up to the 40 man at the beginning of the season to take their spot on the 40 man. It may not be 100% accurate to the Opening Day lineups, but its the only way to do it.

If no roster is created/uploaded by the end of the week I will make one for us single team guys.

Only way to prevent lineup shuffle is to do 30 team control with the 25 man roster, and then on opening day you add everyone to the 40 man.

Bummer...oh well time to learn how to control 30 teams

I heard that you want to add everyone to the 40 man the day before opening day..is that true? Or can you do it ON opening day as well?

Sounds good just a FYI if you haven't checked back on BlueJays 40 man roster with injuries...he's uploaded it to the vault just without 60 day DL players, so those would need to be manually added.

Great work Mikey!

In your tests how did the CPU handle the corresponding roster moves once a player was coming off the DL? Did it manage the depth chart appropriately? I'm trying to avoid 30 team control but don't want unrealistic roster moves when a players comes off the DL.

Also a lot of the rosters have injured players in class A, my understanding is that they would have to be called up to the MLB roster not just the 40 man and then injured if I want them to be in the MLB after the injury?

This is awesome!

I am planning to start a 30 team franchise soon. This was the final piece of the puzzle!

Few questions:

1. Guys who are on the 40 man... They will be in MLB on 31/3 right? If I put them on DL on that day, they'll go back to MLB after they get off the DL, and not A ball right?

2. Guys who are NOT on the 40 man (eg Glen Perkins)... What happens to them once they leave the DL? Do they just go back to A ball? Should they be added to the 40 man before I start my Franchise?

I guess I'm am curious as to why some of these guys aren't on the 40. Were they removed and passed through Waivers?

This is excellent! One change I'll suggest is Anthony Santander for the Orioles. He's still injured as we speak, and won't begin throwing activities until mid-late June. Sounds like he won't be able to come back until after the All-Star Break (probably early-mid August).

This is great. I have to restart my franchise, so I will be adding this in. Thank you for the hard work. I hate doing 30 team control, but I guess its the way you have to play this game.
