Player Lock disables league leader audio and graphics

I've been complaining for a few years about my RTTS player leading the universe in offensive categories and not getting his credit when he comes to the plate via graphic and matt vasgersian saying it - they refuse to fix this problem.

well I noticed in franchise mode this isn't a problem, unless you use player lock.

if you don't use player lock and play for every individual players at bat, they'll notate that the hitter you are using is atop the league leader in certain offensive categories - if you use player lock this is disabled.

in RTTS you have no choice but to use player lock - this means that when your player is leading the league in any offensive category, they won't acknowledge it when you come to the plate. ever.

this has been a problem with THE SHOW for going on 3 years now...

call it nit picky, but this is one of the "little things" right?

Are you referring to the announcers mentioning specific achievements while using player lock? For example in MLB 16 I was trying to break the hitting game streak record with my player locked player.

After hit I hit 25 games the announcers stop talking about it even though I was the top guy in the league.

I have not encountered this yet in MLB 17 but I was hoping it would be fixed and the announcers would mention my achievements as the season progresses. I will report back as to what I am seeing in MLB 17.

I'm playing a franchise with the braves; Freddie Freeman is 3rd in the league in hitting

when he comes to bat, there is a graphic, a red square around Freemans batting average will say: "3rd in NL in batting" and Matt Vasgersian says "he's currentily sitting third in the senior circuit in hitting"

when player lock is on. this is disabled. it will simply say Leading the team in average (or homeruns or RBI) and Matt Vasgersian will say nothing.

if you are playing RTTS and your player is leading in any offensive category, you will just see "LEADS TEAM IN ____" you will NOT see anything else when you player comes to the plate and there will be no audio mentioning your player being a league leader.

Just noticed this is fixed today in my rtts. Awesome they finally got it corrected!

I also just noticed that when using Player Lock created player(non MLB) in Franchise. I do not get the graphic overlays for hitting my 1st double of the year or leading the league in doubles.

I tested this out by putting the game on beginner and hitting 4 doubles in a game with a created player and got no stat overlay when running into second base. But noticed CPU MLB players will get a stat overlay when running into second after just one double.

Currently on patch 1.05 if anyone is using patch 1.06 can they confirm if this is working properly?
