I'm wonderinghow many guys on here have connections in some way to a former or current mlb player. For example: in 2009, I graduated from Northampton High School in PA, the same school as mlb catcher Brian Schneider. I didn't know that until the schools AD gave me a autographed ball. I thought this was cool, so wanted to hear others connections and cool stories!

I have a mutual friend with John Kruk. My friend's mother's cousin is married to Kruk. She and I went to high school together. Met Kruk at Phillies Phantasy Camp in 2015 and told him I know her. He pulls out his phone and texts her saying, "Hey I'm here at Phillies Phantasy Camp with your friend Sean." Lol.
Kruk is an awesome dude.

I was on the same summer ball team with Adam Conley who is a pitcher for the Marlins. That team also had some other guys drafted but never reached the bigs.Comment
