Tip to reduce input lag for Pro users.

For all you PS 4 PRO users out there that may not be aware ..... there is a way to make your Dualshock 4 controller wired and disabled from wireless bluetooth. This method may help reduce input lag which we all dread in baseball games.

From the home screen --- settings/devices/controllers/communication method and choose USE USB CABLE.

Now when you connect your usb cable the wireless is disabled and you are full on old school wired.
(test yourself - unplug the usb cable and the controller shuts off)

Pretty sure this only works on the newer style controllers (CUH-ZCT2) series.

Some people claim it helps. Myself, I don't know if I notice much of a difference as I am already playing on a monitor rated at 9 ms input lag. Just thought I would let you guys know as I know a lot of people have latency issues and people like myself are always looking for ways to reduce input lag even if it is barely noticeable.

I've never seen any actual input lag tests. Do you know of any?

I think you just need to buy the newest DS4 model to get this option. I have the slim that came with the new DS4 and it works over USB.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe even launch PS4 consoles can do this as well as long as you purchase the latest DS4.
