Re: Favorite batting stances in 17?
Ted Williams. The most mechanically efficient, quick swing in the game. I am convinced that no matter how a swing starts, it always ends pretty much the same way, based on the game engine.
Ted Williams' swing basically starts at point zero, which is the point in which every other swing ultimately gets to as the hands come through the zone. No wasted movement. Definitely not the best looking swing, but it's all about results.

Re: Favorite batting stances in 17?
I love the different swings and HR animations. I took a few and uploaded. in previous versions of the show 0- you're right .....Reggie's is hilariously disrespectful.
This makes me want to take this year's and go see all the "no doubt" animations.

I know its plain, but Mitch Moreland. I rake doubles with that guy. His swing is simple, but gets the job doneComment

Re: Favorite batting stances in 17?
does anyone know what stance is Jeter's?
I've always raked with him, and any created player I've used Jeter's stance.'Comment

Re: Favorite batting stances in 17?
it depends on the primary position of my RttS player for example if i'm creating a shortstop I like to look up a list of the current top 25 MLB shortstops & find a stance that I like the most
Or you could go in the complete opposite direction & just pick one you have used over the years
I fell in love with Jorge Soler's stance last year & found that it's even better this year
That's because I'm personally fond of stances that have a huge leg kicks it helps with my timing I find, I can't stand toe-tap stances though.
YMMV honestly.Comment
