What Pitch gives you the most trouble?

Most people I play struggle with low off speed, which I attack with pretty regularly. Surprisingly, I have no trouble seeing that pitch, though.

Inside paint slider is absolutely devastating. I think it's the prettiest pitch in the game, if executed right. If there's less than 2 strikes, I'm not swinging at it. If I actually pick it up breaking back into the zone and decide to swing, it's going to be crap contact.

I sit middle on everything to force people to paint the corners - so naturally I struggle with corner paint fastballs. My PCI is never really going to be on a corner, so I'm basically conceding defeat to what is a really good pitch in real life.

I also struggle with inside stuff lefty on lefty. I am a push hitter that tends to drive it the other way (because I am always looking for the low off speed, I come around a bit later) so I'm not getting much of the barrel on those particular pitches.

usually a fastball high and away on righty vs righty or fastball low and in on lefty vs righty. Obviously the changeup too

Fastball up, change up down. Devils. Can't hit either, but I sure can chase them.

Same here. I honestly think they may need to tweak the changeup a bit.

They are all fairly difficult for me, except FB right down the middle, lol.

If I had to pick just 1 that causes me the biggest problem hitting, it would probably be the change-up. Really any off speed pitch thats on the corners, is tough to hit for me. Even if Ive guessed location and pitch on the corners, there's a good chance I wont do much with it,

Changes down are killer, but the worst for me is STILL the classic lefty-on-lefty crime: slider down and away. If the arm angle is at all sideways, I'm better off just quick managing the at bat...

This year I'm not doing pitch guessing, but when I did I would simply guess changeups down on 2 strikes -- at least it would eliminate that for me. Often though I'd foul several high FB's and then guess that, and BOOM. Changeup down, good night. CPU is sleazy as hell on that...

there must be something about depth perception that doesnt translate well on television
that makes changeup the hardest to hit. because by all rights, the lack of reaction time on fastballs should make those pitches the hardest to hit.
but then, I came upon this on bleacher report a study of batting average against on the seven core pitches (2010-2013)
                sinker - .296
                4 seam - .265
                cutter - .261
                slider - .211
                curve - .213
                change - .244
                splitter - .211

so changeup are harder to hit than fastball IRL

Changeups, Splitters, and low Sliders are killer.

Changeups, no question. There are times that I look for them, get them and STILL can't square them up.

Low change ups give me problems, but I can usually adjust and lay off of them once i see that they are going to keep throwing them. The fastball high and inside is a pitch that I rarely can do anything with, usually a swing and a miss or I go down looking or I just miss it and pop out to the catcher.

Change-ups, especially low in the zone.

Change-ups, always swinging early. the 12-6 curve in the dirt. Swing at it every time. And any high pitch just above the zone, Can't stop myself from swinging even though I tell my self, DON'T SWING.. Somehow I push the button then cuss myself out.

A truly well thrown change is devastating. As someone who gets the pleasure of watching Marco Estrada (maybe the nastiest change in the league) every 5 games its amazing to see guys constantly swing and miss at it even though they know it is coming. Even more amazing is him throwing 89 high in the zone and constantly striking guys out on it cause they are late.

IMO, the show mimics this feeling for me perfectly... The problem is every pitcher with a changeup makes me feel like this. I would agree with others and say that changeups really need tweaking so that those that are good make your timing completely awful whereas those who aren't as good can get hit hard occasionally.

It has been the curve in previous versions of The Show, but I am struggling big time with the low changeup as well as any curve that starts in the zone and ends in the dirt this year. I have never swung this early on pitches before...
