CPU not placing injured players on DL

I'm playing my second game on the season and before I began the season I manually injured all the players that are injured right now. Playing vs TB I've noticed they have like 4 players injured on the bench and Eovaldi (out for the season due to Tommy John) is also active even though he's injured.

Did you change the injury options back to auto after you were done? And i dont remember for sure but any players you manually injure you may have to put them on the DL yourself. I dont remember if the CPU will do it or not I just always do it myslef.

Yes, I tried that and didn't work. I saw in another thread that if you manually injured someone after 03/31/2017 and advance to regular season, the CPU won't place them on the DL. So I restarted a new franchise and injured them on March 30th and it worked.
