If you wanna know how to get around it, you have to move your controller to the CPU team after every single at bat from the 5th innings and then move back to your team . that way it stops the CPU from making a dumb change./ it is the ONLY fix right now. I was able to make Chris sale go 8 innings and lost the game 2-1 from doing this, if I didn't he would have been pulled and I would have won the game 8-2.
I know it's annoying and you gotta do it after every at bat but it is the only fix I know of, unless the CPU is up 8-0 they will never keep a starting pitcher in the game after the 5th innings they will panic as soon as a base runner is on./
you have to manager their team as well as your own to get a realistic game, CPU pulling starters early ruins the game, it's make the scores blow up I never seen low scoring games because of this, THIS fix works, it just requites a few extra seconds of your time after each bat.
