    Not scoring errors in game

Now this has been a problem with the game for years now but I'm seeing it do much worse this year for some reason.

First off, I will say that my personal sliders I have errors up to 9 and 8 (see slider forum). I do this because at default you will go a month or two of games on your calendar before seeing a single error scored. Most people sim games so they do not realize it when looking at team stats.

The biggest problem however is not necessarily the lack of errors. It's the game not scoring errors in game! I just saw Encarcion allow a ground ball to get right by his glove....base hit rbi, no error.

I saw the 3B last game pull the 1b off the bag on a throw...no error, base hit.

I could go on and on but that's not the point. At my settings I am now seeing the proper amount of errors in game as we really should be seeing. Typically I see one or maybe two per game and sometimes none at all. That's how it is irl...

But when the game doesn't score them as errors it really bothers me and makes me want to just go back to default settings and no errors. Because the gane does not score errors properly if at all then that in turn effects other major stats. Like batting average for the cpu, my pitcher's and team era when that runner scores now an earned run.

Please fix this in a patch! It's been a problem with the game for years now but seems worse than ever now. Nonetheless this game is amazing and I can't stop playing it!

Perhaps it's only an issue in the mode you are playing.
I only play DD (conquest and vs CPU), and there are plenty of errors. Just a few games ago, Padres stunk it up with 4, I also managed to get two.
I see many of them, catcher bobbling a popup, throws in the dirt or away from basemen, outfielders misjudging fly balls...

There is probably 1-2 errors in an average 9 inning game. Again, talking about Diamond Dynasty.

I'm seeing similar issues as salsa. Last year I was getting accurate error results, but it's far too forgiving this year.

Salsa, so you have IF at 9 and OF at 8 for fielding and throwingx respectively?

I ended up leaving mine on default. I see errors, but same as salsa, there are error plays that are just being overlooked and not counting.

I'm seeing the same thing, although, I find the fielding animations unforgiving. Sometimes my player just doesn't get ready to field a ball, even thought I get to the spot. Perhaps it's a "reaction" value thing. Just yesterday, I moved to field a hard hit ground ball in RTTS and the ball hit my ankle as I was running without my player leaning down to attempt to field the ball. No error...

Yes. Just had Kipnis make a diving stop, threw it short to Encarcion, he picked it but ball popped out of glove. Okay no problem it can happen. Not scored an error on Kip or Encarcion though, just a base hit! Instead of being out of the inning they score next play on a single and take the 3-2 lead.

I'm okay with the error but don't count it as a base hit and then an earned run now on my SP. Absolutely infuriating at this point where I want to go to default settings but seeing no errors doesn't sit well with me either.

Is the game actually scoring them as errors?? I've never in all my years playing this game seen 3 or more errors in the linescore for any one team.

I'm going to start tallying errors I see to combine with what the game actually scores and see what type of stats I see from there.

That's actually the proper call as it was not a routine play by Kipnis.

Even though he got up with plenty of time to throw? Even slowed himself down a tad...

Wondering if when Ramirez at 3rd threw Encarcion off the base and it wasn't scored an error is because the game felt the play wasn't a routine play now...

Do you think the dropped ball by Encarnacion, even though not an error was caused by the increase of the IF error slider? Wish I knew that answer!

Yes. Frankly, I think OF fielding error at 7 is too high (or was it 8?). I know you had IF at 9, but outfielders were dropping multiple routine flyballs in my game for errors.

Weird...I'm not seeing that. I do see silly things like not picking up ball cleanly though. Not an error but just silly to watch. So yeah, 7 probably is a good idea to start.

Personally I kinda like it, maybe now one of my guys will have a chance to win a GG instead of it always going to someone in the East.
