An option to save the highlights at the End of the game

Hello forum. Does anyone know if this feature was removed? In year's past, there would be an option to save the highlights of the game after you view them. It seems to be missing on my copy.

    Thanks in advanced

I'm not sure about saving. When I did try to save stuff and what not both mlb 15 and 16 I was quite disappointed with the movie maker mode. Commentators voices were missing and it was from the default replay view. What work around I use is to hit the "share" button after you do something you would like to be saved. Share button and then save video will clip the previous 15 minutes of play and playstation share factory app isn't bad with editing trimming etc. Another alternative is to create a twitch account if you do not have one and stream and archive your games and you can create highlights that way as well. Twitch allows you to create highlights and export to YouTube.

Not exclusive to your copy, it looks like it's been removed from the game.

I think it was removed in favor of the share button.

Yeah. I just save it via the share button then cut it down to size.

WOW! Thanks everyone. I'll try the share button feature. It was so easy being prompted to save at the end of the highlight reel.

Yeah, this feature is a holdover from the PS3 days when we couldn't just capture video from anywhere in a game. It never really belonged in the PS4 generation to begin with.

                  It's a pretty big omission.

Instead of the option to save the highlights you need to go through sharing.

                    What?

It's literally as simple as either holding down a button or double-pressing that same button (depending on your share settings), pressing the same button again when the recording's finished, and then finding it in your library. If you do it this way you don't even need to trim it down. It's no more difficult than the older process.

I am always horrible at catching clips correctly, did not know I had to press the same button again when done, LOL.

OPTION TO SAVE POST GAME FRANCHISE HIGHLIGHT REEL TO MAIN PAGE..

yes completely wiped out of existence... I was very upset and pissed off about it due to the fact that it was a key feature I used every update I did in my posting of my franchise over the years since it was put in.

It's a pain is what it is.

Depending on what you have the share settings at you need to either change your settings or edit. That's a pain considering that before you just hit one button and it was done.
