    New PSN account

I am hoping someone here can help me out. I am giving my ps4 to my son because there are a lot of games he has downloaded on it. I am getting a new ps4 and am hoping that all my progress in DD can somehow be moved on to my new PSN. Is there any way to move just my progress on the show onto a new PSN?

Keep your psn name and just have him make a new one. You can game
Share between the two of you. Make his ps4 your primary and vice versa.

I'm very new to all of this but how does game share work? Will he be able to play the games we digitally downloaded whenever he wants? What do you mean make his primary and vice versa?

You can leave your name on the current PS4 as primary. Then any name added to that PS4 can play all the games. So you make a new PSN name for your son and he can play any of the games on the system as long as your name is still there as primary.

Then when you get your new PS4 add your name to that one and you can transfer everything from the current PS4 to the new one and you will not lose anything.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you! Only question I have is how do I transfer everything from the current ps4 once I get a new one?

You can do it by ethernet cable or you can save all your stuff to the cloud and then download it from the cloud onto your nee ps4.

They have this option now where you can hook up your new PS4 to the current on you have and transfer everything over. I have not did this yet, but I think you hook them up to each other via Ethernet cable and expect that to transfer over in a day or so. I listed 3 options for you.

              Option #2:

You can move everything on current PS4 to your online cloud/save from the current PS4.

Then on your new PS4 sign in with your main account etc that has everything on your current ps4 then go to the online cloud/save and just move everything to the hard drive on the new PS4.

              Option #3:

You can always get a thumb drive maybe a 32gb etc and just move files to that then transfer them to your new PS4.

              * Note: In all these options you can re-download all your games from your library that are digital. The game saves will need to be transferred over so you have them and don't lose them.

              I hope this helps.
