    Training tips

Any tips on training? You let computer handle it? Sometimes they will train a guy with really low speed and try to bump it up, but it seems pointless to me and should focus or something else. Just curious on others and how they handle training.

to be honest, i dont even think training works. seen too many times i set it to something for a player and his skills never change.

There's a VERY minimal effect, which is frustrating.

That being said, I always make sure to set training manually for guys I care about, especially stud prospects. Don't take but a minute....

I never train speed/baserunning/bunting. It's getting to the point where I might just edit Durability, because that's way too random with prospects, and it's a garbage rating anyway -- since when should there be one attribute that controls both energy (how often a player needs a day off) AND injury risk?!! Too silly...

train them in skills that your coaches have + signs in. you might have to write it down. if you don't have a good hitting coach, i wouldn't recommend giving your batters a hitting coach session.
