Nothing is getting patched... has there even been a patch?

1) Directional hitting is out of control
With directional hitting you dont have to worry about changeups, lot of pro players are thinking that this is a glitch currently, where you constantly foul all changeups that are at your shoes, its a constant pattern, directional hitting is supposed to punish you for swinging out of the strikezone, but currently since launch it has been so OP that even pro players playing DD are using it instead of zone...

2) Michael Jordan jump 8 feet in the air gold glove outs throws
This is a insane animation, where the guy jumps up in the air yet still makes a perfect throw, every player seems to have it, even those that are horrible defenders are making insane gold glove type of throws....

3) Swing timings
They currently make 0 sense whats so ever... Late, early, balls that you throw out of the strike zone yet somehow they are being hit even if you have poor swing timing and poor accuracy, you still make contact somehow. This issue has been widely agreed upon already, the swing timings just dont seem to make any sense this year, no idea if its the server lag or what.

4) INFIELD DEFENSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What on earth is happening with out infield players? If there is a ball hit behind them they just seem to get stuck and stand still....Even after you try to switch your player they dont seem to move, as long as the ball is hit at a decent speed, they seem to glitch out and stand still. I had balls get hit in the air, and fall 2 feet behind my SS because he would not move.


Now if you are a single player guy, some or most of these issues might not be known or as common, but when you play in DD, and especially vs decent competition, these issues start to come out and ruin games. It gets to a point where i try to do a pitch out move so that i could strike out a directional hitting user that i know is bad and is swinging at everything, but if i dont aim 100 feet to the side he will somehow make contact on bad timing and nowhere near the strike zone inflating my pitch count. Its really a bad atmosphere currently for online DD in this game, and i hope there are changes coming.

If directional hitting does not get nerfd this game is over from a competitive DD standpoint.

1. I personally have had no problem with directional if your swinging at a changeup at your shoes than you need to work on your plate discipline but if I try to swing at a changeup out of the zone I'm gonna miss it.

2. If you wanna post the glitch on The Show forums I would recommend it but I personally haven't seen it.

3. Hitters will hit pitches out of the zone so I don't see a problem with that.

4. Same as #2 send them a bug report.

I'm not sure if your trying to troll but regardless asking if they've abandoned the game is ridiculous and I'm sure this thread won't be unlocked for much longer.

Ok so you confirmed all my suspicions and that you are clearly inexperienced so it makes sense why somehow you are oblivious to all of these well known issues that majority of players have been dealing with for some time now. Im simply trying to figure out when an actual patch is coming thats more then adjusting the weekly stats for a few players and changing the picture of the main menu screen.

Very simply, there is both an Impressions thread and a Bug/Glitch thread. If you're have issues, you should post about them there. OS typically tries to avoid clogging up forums with these kinds of posts.

Additionally, yes there have been patches.

You talking down to others is not really appropriate. Try re-reading your posts and editing the condescending parts out or phrasing them differently before posting. Otherwise you probably won't be around too much longer.

I don't see the need to insult me as I haven't said anything that could remotely cause you to do that the reason I don't know about those bugs is because I don't frequently visit the bug thread as one it's closed because they want people putting them on the Show forums and two because I don't use it unless I see something.

The guy is posting when he just admitted he does know what hes posting about... while insinuating that im trolling and my thread should be locked. My feelings are not hurt by any means and I wouldn't have responded if you left it alone with your response but again you had to come after me once again so I felt I had the need to respond for myself.

I did say I played half a season but I never said that was the only games I've played in 17 or that 17 is the only game I've purchased in the The Show series.

Also again I need to say I did not accuse you of trolling nor did I say this thread should be locked I was wondering if maybe this was a troll post and I was just warning you that this thread could be locked soon.

1. The game is not abandoned, they have posted multiple updates regarding patches and server maintenance recently.
2. Patches can't be rolled out instantly, there is a process.
3. Learn to post more constructively and not attack others, or you will get a lot worse than a locked thread.
