Directional hitting

Anyone using directional hitting never tried it before just wanted to know how to do it?

It's my go to. Some say it's a form of cheating as most of the time if you have decent timing, you'll get a bit, but it comes in handy when the shift is on and you need to go oppo through the hole.

Use the left stick to influence the lift on the ball.

So what do you do before pitch with left stick and are you using buttons or analog?

So you push it through the swing or just once for the direction you want

I hold the left stick in the direction I want to swing and use the buttons to swing.

So you hold it throughout the swing the way you want the ball to go or push it once before the swing

Yes, throughout the swing. Go to bp and try if it before playing a game.

But also keep in mind the timing of your swing will have more to do with the direction than holding the stick.

I use directional but I don't move the stick, instead I just press the x button. When I have a runner on 3rd with 1 out or none I'll try to influence a ground ball just to bring that runner home.

I guess so. This game is so frustrating any hit fine by me. I don't concern myself with variety.
