playing the show 17, using my 16 franchise. i downloaded the 2016 full minors roster last year and used that

but now when im playing the show 17 version a lot of player namex have been changed

rex brothers is steve swindel, spencer patton is john matthews, j.p. arrencbia is miguel gurrerro, jimmy paredes is andrew smith


i cant figure out why?

do i need to download the 2017 full minors roster also?

i feel like that wouldnt work since im just continuing from my 2016 franchise

I just continued from 16 and have not checked names. no big deal, really - unless the guy is a star and his name changed.

2 of them didnt play MLB in 2016 so they couldnt be put in, Patton and Paredes are playing in Japan this year and cant be included

Gotta be active currently to have your name continue over. 16 had Christian Vasquez' name change since he was out for '15.

Those names randomize, BTW. A Rod is Martin Lanier in my game.

Like others have said. They were SCEA guys who were included in the rosters and not created by the OSFM rosters. They have a unique SCEA player ID. Since they were removed from this years game, as they did not play last year in the MLB, the IDs were not carried over as they are no longer in the game.
