Did auto baserunning stop working for anyone else?
I've always used auto baserunning for DD games vs CPU, because I'm terrible at being able to control individual runners. However, starting last night it stopped working. Once in awhile I'll see the 'Auto Baserunning On' show up in the baserunning window, but mostly it doesn't anymore and my guys don't run for themselves any more (except on those rare occasions where it actually shows up).Tags: None -

Working for me in my offline franchise.
I recently switched to it because with assisted baserunning if I had a guy on 2nd he would always slide into third on a ground ball even if it was on the opposite side of the field and even if it was a base hit. It has cost me a game and nearly cost me two others.

Not true. I had been using auto baserunning for years without problem. I didn't suddenly lose fine motor dexterity. It started last year when they started allowing you to I believe manual steal. And yes the auto baserunning switches back and forth from showing auto baserunning osd to not showing from one play to next. This is why runners stop mid play. When I use controller, I always keep my hand well below the R1 and L1 triggers. And I hit with buttons only. The only time I ever touch L2 trigger is if, on rare occasion, I want to force my runner on 1st to steal. I usually let the AI make the decision.Comment
