Hitting frustration this year

I cannot score this year and am about to give up. Playing since 08, it's not like I cannot hit, I am sick of Great contact, Green PI, line drives right at people at an unrealistic rate. I draw walks, make good contact, but everytime I have people on, they never drop, it is always line drives right at someone, is there something different this year?

I did an experiment, put the difficulty down to beginner, and it was still hard to score, again tonnes of line drives, perfect contact, it seems compared to real baseball this is happening at a silly rate, especially with runners on, is my game bugged?>

Change your swing. Swing late, to try to put the ball where the players aren't. That's just one example. Experiment.

You are probably one of the few that feels that way because by my experience this year game its probably the easiest ever to the point that SCEA had to tone down power because the were too many HR's.

Did you even read my post? The issue is not HR's, that is the one way I usually score, or being able to hit, it is the insane high frequency of perfect contact line drives, that never are hits. It happens in real ball of course, but not at the rate I am seeing, not even remotely close, it's to the point everytime I have runners on it happens a crazy high percentage. Maybe I will try sliders like the guy above said. Thank you.

I forgot to mention, this only seems to be an issue in franchise oddly, RTTS no issue.

Default, Allstar.

If you believe it's only a franchise issue, I'm going to suggest it may just all be in your head.

weird to say but a drop in solid contact might help introduce more hit variety if you seem to be hitting everything on a line.

I've been playing on HOF pitching/hitting and I've noticed something similar. Through 25 games, my BABIP is ridiculously low at .200 and my BA RISP is .133. I at first was using sliders to limit HRs to a realistic rate but I have since switched back to default. Honestly without the inflated HRs I would never score.

If you aren't using zone hitting try that. Zone = hits for days.
