Is there a way to revert to v 1.03?

My game automatically downloaded and installed the new patch. After seeing all the negative reviews I wanted to try to go back to 1.03. Is this possible?

No. You can only revert a patch if you have the physical copy and want to go to the out-of-the-box version.

I do have the DVD if that helps.

1.04 is the best version overall. The main issue with it is the bat sounds, but as far as gameplay goes, it's worth it...and they're already working on the next patch, so the sound issue is only temporary.

        Hit variety is better.
        Pitching deliveries are smoother.
CPU SP management is much better.

There's more, but those 3 things alone greatly improve the game.

That's fine and all and I will try it out, I just don't know how to revert if I want to.

The best you will be able to do is the out of the box version or the latest version. You can't download updates in between and stop there as far as I know.

I agree with this. Although CPU SP management is still sketchy with QC's or QM.

You can copy version 1.03 to and external device with the patest PS4 update. And copy it back over 1.04 (latest patch) if you want to revert back. This is assuming you have not downloaded 1.04 yet.

Aside from the sound issue, what other complaint have you heard that would make you skeptical about 1.04? Just curious because I haven't heard about any other major issues, but you mentioned "all the negative reviews". I've seen a couple people complain that SDS went too far in nerfing the HR power, but I think it's much better. Plus if you want more HR, just bump up your sliders a bit. That's what why those settings are there, since everyone has their own tastes...but the general consensus is that HR in general did need to be toned down at the default level, so it was a positive change.
