I'm not saying they got it perfect. I'm saying they are actually in the right direction. Everyone plays different. That is why they have sliders. To fine tune what each person is looking for in there personal game experience.

Nothing against onliners, but idc lol. That's why I stated offline franchises. I hope for onliners and even offliners, that they get out of the box closer to where you don't really need sliders, but that will never happen as there are to many different kinds of players and to many gamers looking for different things.

Since there are so many different styles, that's why they shoot for the default to be as close to a simulation as possible. Hence the patch

for ranked I can see why the default sliders are used but if 2 consenting individuals want to play an unranked game online with adjusted sliders then they should be allowed to IMO

Visually the game is improved but I'm a results oriented guy and in order to make the game function like MLB IRL I now have to embark on the joyous endeavor of figuring out which slider to adjust in which direction to try to get the game to work.

Two problems - Human AI and balls which used to be hits down the foul line now curving foul - have reduced the amount of offense in the game.

Example - shortstop running full speed toward the foul line gloves the ball on the outfield grass, jumps in the air with his momentum carrying him away from first base and throws a 100mph ball accurately to the first baseman for the out. Doesn't happen IRL. What slider removes that? I don't know. What slider stops balls from curving weirdly? I don't know.

In this example nothing you can do about ball physics. That's the game. As far as the SS, you can do two things. 1, lower infield arm strength and/or 2, lower fielder reaction and that ball possibly goes through.

Alot less foulballs and fringe contact made. It doesn't magically push balls fair though.
